Two months have passed since the last update, and things haven't really gotten all that different. We do have six new members (and like 20 new followers!) which is nice, but otherwise not much has gone on. Pictures are filtering in, very, very slowly, and we're slowly growing. This is the boring phase of our existence, when we're still to small to really go anywhere but increasing steadily enough as to keep holding on to our status as a growing group. I feel like I should say more here, but I just sort of don't have more to say. Sorry.

I'll try to actually start doing this once a month instead of once in two.

Wait, what is this thing?

Oh great, you might be thinking, another giantess fan group. Wow, haven't seen that before *snark snark*. And, yeah, Gigagirls is definitely a giantess fan group, no question about that. But it's not just another giantess fan group. We intend to be at least somewhat special in our method of achieving the status of 'giantess fan group'.

When you hear 'giantess fan group', you always jump to the giantess part. And, sure, I'm not going to lie, that's a really important part. But you can't forget the 'fan' part, either. We're a community, in a way. Gigagirls is a collection of giantess pictures, sure, but it's also a place to talk about giantesses with other people who love their girls big too. Or, at least, that's the plan! More than a collection, Gigagirls aims to be a community, and that makes us just a little different than the rest.

Community rules:
- No being jerks to each other.

- No explicitly sexual conversations/RP's. Please, common sense, people. Keep it 15+.

Submission rules:
- Pictures must contain one (or more) female human(s) or humanoid(s) who is(are) significantly larger than her(their) surroundings. By significantly larger, I'm talking stepping on skyscrapers as a minimum. This is 'Gigagirls', after all.

- Pictures may not contain explicitly sexual content. Suggestive stuff is okay, though.

- We accept drawings, collages, renders, and stories. For non-picture content (written works) the same rules apply in regard to required size and content.

For submissions, please do not submit directly to the 'featured' folder. The other folders are organized by size of girls depicted. Try to put your submission in the right size category, but don't freak out over it. I'll move them around if I see something wrong.

Thank you for exploring Gigagirls! Good luck!

It's very rough. I can tell that you haven't found out how to use transparency yet, or gotten your hands on better stock imagery. I would really suggest you take some time to learn how to use basic transparency layers, so that you can put the images of the girls on top of the background images without ending up with bad edges.

I'm going to refer you, again, to the free image editing program paint.net:
www.getpaint.net/index.html

It's very powerful and will let you do much better work. I'd also encourage you to find better stock images, maybe in higher resolution if only to make working with them easier for you. What I usually do is edit my collages at about 4X the size I publish them at, so that any small errors that I make become less visible in the final image. Please, take a few hours to familiarize yourself with the program before you try to make another image. You'll be surprised how much you can improve with only 3-5 hours of real, honest, concentrated practice.

Not to brag or anything, but I think this deviation may be my best one yet.

I'm open to your opinions. Which one do you think is better, this one,

Or this one?

Or should I reposition her a little bit?

I think you should look into getting images with transparency layers, so that the base images can be seen through the background of the picture of the girl.

Thanks for the recommendation. It has worked beyond my expectations! :)

How's about this one?

I didn't have time to go looking for better software. I sincerely hope, for my sake, that this one is good enough.

This is free picture editing software that allows you to do basically everything that photoshop does (just with a little more effort). It has layering and effects channels. I make all my pictures with it, so I'm well aware what can be done with this software. It will take you 15 hours to learn, and about 2 hours to make a good image once you start using it, but it works really well. Take some time to learn and improve your skills.

Awaiting confirmation on these next 3. I only had the time to do Gemma, because these were the only photos I am almost finished editing, but I'll get around to doing someone else in the near future.

They seem to be... really low res. And distorted something fierce. I'll accept... two of them, but I don't want a flood of quickly-done collages. I really don't want to say no, but these look really, really rushed. In the future, I would suggest trying to get higher resolution, lower distortion images to use as bases. Of the four total you put in, I'll take the two best, but I would encourage you to spend more time on your next picture before moving to submission.
